March 17, 2007 Held the yearly BOC Wealth Management VIP Day to explore bidiness investment opportunities among the customers.
April 25, 2007 Held a seminar on the topic of “Important changes and effects on the local commercial and corporate clients with the implementation of the new UCP600 requirements”. Representatives from more than 100 enterprises participated in this event.
July 18, 2007 The signing ceremony of “the Macau/Hong Kong Cross-Border HKD Clearing Procedures” was held at AMCM. BOC Macau Branch was appointed by AMCM to be the aqunt bank of Macau/Hong Kong cross-border HKD clearing, providing clearing services for participating banks. This is a new cross-border HKD Clearing channel in Macau starting from August 6 of the same year.
Mid-August 2007 Launched the “Bank-Client System” for corporate clients in Macau. This service was specifically tailored for our prestigious client The Venetian, which was to provide salary payment service, batch transfer service, bill payment at the counter (inquiry online), etc. through electronic certificate authorization via iTS online banking.
August 23, 2007 Launched the new project financing product – “BOC Project Link” for corporate clients.
September 17, 21,27 & 28, 2007 Opening ceremonies for the Wealth Management Centers of San Ma Lou Sub-branch, Ho Lan Un Sub-branch, Sap Yuet Chor Ng Kai Sub-branch and Hoi Tou Sub-branch.
September 13, 2007 The People’s Bank of China announced that according to the criteria and standards of the clearing bank for personal RMB business in Macau, it decided to appoint Bank of China Macau Branch to continuously act as the clearing bank for personal RMB business in Macau.
October 25, 2007 Held the first BOC Cup Golf Friendship Tournament at the Westin Golf Club in Macau.
January 3, 2008 Held the launching ceremony of the 1st generation iTs Mobile Banking Service jointly with Macau Telecommunication Company at 33rd floor of Bank of China Building.
January 10, 2008 Grand opening of the Grand Canal Sub-branch. Over 100 prominent figures in the political and business fields were invited to participate in this special event. The new sub-branch is located in the Grand Canal Shoppes of the Venetian Hotel-Resort. comprehensive resort location, it provides savings and loan, and personalized one-stop wealth management services.
March 28, 2008 Grand opening of Bank of China Private Banking (Macau). Over 200 prominent business people and celebrities of Macau were invited to this event. Bank of China Private Banking (Macau) introduces the new concept of a value-creating platform and financial services to the general public.
May 1, 2008 Hosted by the Macau SAR government, organized by the Macau Sport Development Board and sponsored by Bank of China Macau Branch, the “Bank of China 100-day Olympic Countdown Supershow” was held at the Macau East Asia Games Stadium (Macau Egg).
May 5, 2008 The handover of the Olympic Flame in Macau was done smoothly on May 3. To continue the passion from such a historicl moment of witnessing the Olympic Flame passing through Macau, Bank of China Macau Branch exhibited the 2008 “Auspicious Cloud” Olympic Torch.
July 13, 2008 With the approval of the International Olympic Committee and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, and pursuant to the law No. 5/2008 of the Macau SAR government, Bank of China Macau Branch was authorized to issue to the 29th Olympic Games Commemorative Notes in denomination of MOP20.
October 8, 2008 Grand opening of the Bank of China Prestigious Wealth Management Center (at Bank of China Building, Macau) and at Four Seasons Hotel, Macau.
January 5, 2009 Issued the new Bank of China Patacas banknotes of 2008.
January 14, 2009 The Bank of China Charitable Foundation was established.
June 19, 2009 The Association of the Fellowship of the Home of Bank of China Macau Branch was established.
June 30, 2009 Adoption of a Smoke-free Workplace policy in Bank of China Macau Branch.
July 28, 2009 Launched the first UnionPay Dual-currency Credit Card in Macau jointly with China UnionPay.
September 9, 2009 Grand opening of the Bank of China San Hou Sub-branch
October 8, 2009 Upon notification from AMCM that banks in Macau were allowed to develop RMB cross-border trade settlement business as an agent bank, Bank of China Macau Branch took the lead to carry out the first cross-border trade settlement in RMB on October 8, 2009.
December 14, 2009 Signed the Agreement on RMB Clearing Business Between the People’s Bank of China and Bank of China Limited Macau Branch with The People’s Bank of China. Other than continuing to  provide personal RMB clearing services, BOC Macau Branch developed the RMB cross-border trade clearing and settlement services pursuant to the rules and requirements of People’s Bank of China and AMCM.
